Paper accepted at MCPC 2009, Helsinki. The paper details a user trial which sought to answer two key questions: What is the best method for consumers to conduct design exploration, and How well are consumers able to communicate design intent. This paper is published in the conference proceedings and is subject to usual copyright conditions.
